This wine bears an uncommon story: the town of Fronsac witnessed the rise of a dark hero who’s name was Hercule d’Arsilemont. This lord put his life at stake to prevent the loss of local vineyards, by applying his own methods. The King, who caught wind of his frenzy (Fr. transl. «lubie») took necessary action to put a stop to d’Arsilemont’s proceedings. This bottle is a tribute to this controversial figure of the XVIIth century.
